Only Watch Charity Auction 2019
On November 9, 2019, the Only Watch auction took place under the patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco, which raised 38,000,000 CHF to support research against Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Less than a year after its launch, Trilobe is very proud to announce its contribution to this sale. Initially estimated between 9,000 and 12,000 CHF the watch was sold for 26,000 CHF.
The unique bronze Trilobe edition “Les Matinaux” – Only Watch 2019 – is a tribute to all the communities that work in a bold way to find effective treatments for patients; a creation that translates life’s challenges into a message of hope by René Char, engraved on its back.
The 50 unique editions took part in an exceptional tour around the world, meeting collectors, end customers and the public loving fine watchmaking: Monaco, Dubai, Paris, London, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and Geneva.

Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève
Trilobe is very proud to announce its preselection for the 19th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) in the category “Petite Aiguille”.
The preselected Trilobe watch is the storm grey one, an emblematic model of the brand launched in December 2018.
This preselection in the category “Petite Aiguille” is, for Trilobe, a wink to one of its mottos: hands less, but with a sprinkle of magic.
The 84 preselected watches will participate to an exceptional tour around the world. These exhibitions will be an opportunity for Trilobe to meet collectors, end customers and an audience of fine watchmaking connoisseurs: Australia, Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Geneva…
After their world tour, the 84 watches will take up residence from 1st to 14th of November in the palatine rooms of the city’s largest museum, the Museum of Art and History (MAH), where for the past three years, the GPHG has been organizing a multi-faceted exhibition dedicated to the art and culture of watchmaking.
The final winners will be announced on November 7 at the awards ceremony.

Trilobe is very proud to support the Only Watch Charity Auction. This auction, that will be held on the 9th of November 2019 in Geneva, is the premier international watchmaking charity event. Since 2005, the Monegasque Association has already raised more than 40 million Swiss Francs in funds. These funds proceeds to finance research in the field of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a degenerative neuromuscular disease that affects more than 3500 young people around the world.
Trilobe’s unique piece “Les Matinaux” – Only Watch 2019 – is a tribute to all communities fighting strongly and audaciously for effective research and patient’s treatments in the future.
This unique piece in bronze compresses life challenges into prose from René Char engraved at the back of the watch.
René Char is a poet who fearlessly shouted out “Impose your luck, embrace your happiness and go toward your risks: by looking at you, they’ll get used to it”. He paved the way for hope, courage, human warmth and wisdom. With the courtesy of Madame Char and Gallimard Publishing House, the back of the watch has been exclusively engraved with his quote along with the poet’s original signature.
