Watch with automatic integrated movement
Conceived in France,Developed in Switzerland
Trilobe’s watches are equipped with the X-Centric calibre, an automatic movement designed and developed exclusively for Trilobe.
Trilobe has entrusted its manufacture and partner of La Chaux-de-Fonds, le Cercle des Horlogers, with the task of architecturing its automatic movement with a micro-rotor. Its mission: combine the technical challenge with an ‘‘artistically offbeat’’ approach, while perpetuating Swiss watchmaking excellence. In that spirit, the calibre was designed from amazing architectural perspectives that will take you back to the genesis of Trilobe adventure.
The craftsmen who manufacture Trilobe’s watches preserve the ancestral know-how of master watchmakers, in order to create pieces that meet the highest quality standards. Their search for perfection and their manual intelligence express themselves in the hidden details of the movement.
State-of-the-art rings
Each component of time holds a unique place: the largest ring for hours, the median one for minutes,
the smallest one for seconds. The three rings are eccentric and moving: each one follows its own path,
in a counter-clockwise direction, without ever overlapping.
In motion
Tailor-made design for an X-Centric dynamic.
Patented display.
55 experts craftsmen.
5 years of research and development.
Technical breakthrough for component sets and energy management’s mastery.
Finishes in line with the codes of prestige watchmaking
The iconic stature of this unique movement does not only reside in its technical complexity, but also in its handmade finishes involving an outstanding level of detail. Modern, sleek, and refined, these finishes, whether visible or hidden in the heart of the watch, make this calibre into a real artistic creation: micro-blasted and wedged bridges & plates, hand polished wedged ratchet and tints in Trilobe shades.

A game of heads or tails
Because a watch should be beautiful from both front and back, Trilobe plays with contrasts: X-Centric vision of watchmaking on the front side, concentric and symmetrical signature on the reverse side, based on a graphic and architectural centred perspective, one of the central pillars of Trilobe. Drawing its inspiration from the architecture’s aesthetic codes, the movement offers a visual contrast through a two-tone plate: a search for brightness on the front
side and an invitation into the storm gray depths on the reverse side.

Trilobe innovation: a dual complication
Things are not always what they appear to be…You may see a dial, but the reality is much more complex, and this is how it works: time is put in motion through three eccentric rotating rings. This singular time display device, composed of 5, 4, or 3 parts depending on the collection, forges a technical bond between the dial, on the front, and the X-Centric calibre, on the back. This is what makes the strength of Trilobe’s innovation: the dial is intrinsic to the movement, which alone makes it possible to free time.
Trilobe innovation: the equilibrium of forces
A real technical challenge in the equilibrium of forces, searching for the perfect balance between the force of an unusually strong spring barrel required to put the dial in motion, and the finesse of the perfectly concentric and levelled lower rings engineered with the highest precision to guarantee their smooth travel on the dial. With this dual complication, Trilobe extends the boundaries of watchmaking and gives a new meaning to the traditional decorative dial.
Trilobe innovation: the energy management
Optimized inertia to develop the widest possible disc for reading. A highly optimized power reserve system that allows such heavy display to move, by preserving a long power reserve in a thin watch movement. The guarantee of performance for the movement.
Innovation and expertise at the service of the dial’s poetry
Trilobe breaks the absolute of watchmaking with its eccentric dynamics: a challenge towards the traditionally centred watchmaking kinematics. The automatic X-Centric calibre defies the codes of traditional watchmaking with a new time display.
Innovation, accuracy and Swiss know-how compendium, the X-Centric calibre extends the boundaries. A play with transparency reveals all the subtlety and finesse of the movement.
What time is it?
It is 2 hours, 13 minutes and 0 seconds
Each component of time holds a unique place:
the largest ring for hours;
the median one for minutes,
the smallest one for seconds.
Three pointers in the shape of a trefoil enable a direct reading of the hours, minutes, and seconds.
What time is it?
It is 12 hours, 15 minutes and 40 seconds
Each component of time holds a unique place:
the largest ring for hours;
the minutes wheel that appears within an aperture;
the seconds wheel, which alternates between a “Clous de Paris” centre and an azured ring.
A pointer in the shape of a trefoil enables a direct reading of the hours, while another one, this time in the shape of the tip of a trefoil, enables a direct reading of the minutes on top, and the seconds below.
What time is it?
It is 7 hours, 20 minutes and 25 seconds
Each component of time holds a unique place:
the largest ring for hours;
the median one for minutes,
the smallest one for seconds.
A red pointer enables a direct reading of the hours below
and the minutes and seconds on top
