The contrasts of the movement
Each finish enhances the contrast of the movement: fine or coarse graining on the bridges and main plates, and black polishing on the screws and bushings, for a discreet elegance. The screws and jewels are highlighted by a concave, diamond-polished surround.
On the surface, hand-satin-finished bridges play off the rhodium-plated gear train, with its circular satin finish, in perfect harmony with its rotation. Finally, the oscillating weight combines a sunray pattern with graining. These interplays of texture come together with the 5N gold treatment, whose warmth and patina will reveal themselves over time.
INTRODUCTION OF THE OSCILLATING WEIGHT
The openworked oscillating weight, crafted from tungsten, reveals the balance wheel supported by a bridge inspired by traditional watchmaking codes. A result of a unique design, the weight is accompanied by a safety pin system, guaranteeing the movement's protection against major shocks and preserving the integrity of the bridges and internal components.
A movement suspended
Through the sapphire caseback, the movement appears suspended: the inner diameter of the case, fully exposed and mirror-polished, reflects the movement and creates a spectacular sense of depth.
HIGH-PRECISION CHRONOMETRIC ADJUSTMENT
The bespoke balance wheel, custom-developed, features four chronometric adjustment screws for fine-tuning, ensuring regularity and stability over time.
ORIGIN "PARIS-FRANCE"
The engraving "Paris – France", visible on the movement bridge, uses typography inspired by old Parisian street signs.
