A Venture Into High Jewellery

Entrée dans la Haute Joaillerie

Trilobe favors complexity over simplicity, innovation over déjà vu, liberation over immobility, with 150 diamonds in motion.

A year after launching its Une Folle Journée collection, Trilobe takes its first step into the world of Haute Joaillerie with a luminous, innovative piece inspired by the ceiling of the Opéra Garnier. The three rotating rings are set with exceptional diamonds, their invisible setting, undetectable to the naked eye, crafted with the expertise of talented artisans from the rue de la Paix.

This new creation brings together remarkable savoir-faire. Two years of research and development were required to meet this genuine feat, standing at the crossroads of Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie.

A feat of watchmaking and jewellery craft

While preserving the elegance and extravagance of the original Une Folle Journée creation, the Maison chose to set its symbolic rings with stone. A true technical challenge, one that would have been impossible to meet without a complete architectural rethinking of the piece. The construction of the rings was entirely reimagined to accommodate 150 baguette-cut diamonds, while a shift in materials proved equally essential to preserve the movement's performance and reliability.

A setting signed Trilobe

The material chosen for the rings, together with their fine profile, which offers only the narrowest surface for precious stones, led the Maison to develop an entirely new setting technique, in collaboration with expert, RJC-certified setters from the rue de la Paix. The 150 diamonds that animate the hours, minutes and seconds are set through an invisible opening, then glide along the ring by way of a unique system developed exclusively by Trilobe.

The setter's craftsmanship joins the expertise of a renowned, RJC-certified diamond dealer from the Place Vendôme to bring the Une Folle Journée Diamant to life. Carefully selected to the highest standards of quality and traceability, the 150 stones are meticulously cut to measure. Baguette cut, they follow the curve of the Maison's three iconic rings with perfect precision.

Trilobe finds its inspiration in the Opéra Garnier

An emblematic home to the seven arts, the Opéra Garnier holds deep significance for the Maison, whose creations continually reflect its affinity for the arts.

Look up, and you will find an eight-metre chandelier of undeniable splendour. Three hundred and fourteen lights, known as its diamond belt, adorn the work of contemporary artist Marc Chagall. The fresco is divided into twelve triangles forming a circle, one meant to be read through a full 360-degree turn. This ceiling, once considered controversial for its boldness and avant-garde spirit, is today an inseparable part of the building, and quietly mirrors the identity of the Maison.
Une Folle Journée Diamant is available to order in a platinum or rose gold case.
