Wearing or placing your watch near electronic devices that can generate magnetic fields is detrimental to its proper functioning.
These magnetic fields can be emitted by various sources, such as mobile phones, computers, refrigerators, and other electronic devices. These disturbances can lead to a sudden change in your watch's accuracy.
Watches are designed to withstand radiation encountered in daily life, but some strong disturbances can magnetize steel components of the movement, particularly the balance spring.
That is why, if you travel regularly by plane, we particularly recommend removing your watch before passing through security gates.
If, however, you notice a malfunction in your watch, we advise you to visit the nearest workshop, so that a watchmaker can carry out a demagnetization procedure.
This procedure, performed in just a few minutes, does not require opening your watch and therefore will not invalidate your warranty.
