Attached to the symbolism of things, Trilobe has chosen to make Paris its setting and to establish its manufacture in a place steeped in history and culture. From design to assembly, from engineering to the production of components, we integrate the savoir-faire that brings our creations to life. A Parisian Manufacture conceived in our own way, to gain ever more mastery and preserve our freedom to create.
What animates us at 32
From the windows of Trilobe’s offices, bathed in light beneath the rooftops of Paris’s grand Haussmannian buildings, the dome of the Opéra Garnier comes into view, while the Vendôme Column can be glimpsed in the distance. They are home to a team of passionate individuals who contribute to the design and creation of the Maison’s timepieces. As in the past, they work together under one roof, fostering interaction, the free flow of ideas, responsiveness, and initiative. Led by Creative Director and Founder Gautier Massonneau, they bring an original horological composition to life.
The Creation Studio
Gautier Massonneau’s vision comes to life in our studio, a true creative workshop where art meets mechanics.
There, it is translated into drawings, volumes, proportions, and mechanical architectures. Each component undergoes meticulous 3D modelling, with machining, assembly, and reliability constraints integrated from the very first sketch, without ever restricting the creative impulse.
From intuition to form, every technical choice is reassessed through the lens of its aesthetic impact, until a functional prototype is approved. The prototype is then entrusted to the expert hands of our watchmakers for assembly, adjustment, and testing.
An atelier oriented to the future
Within the workshop, our watchmakers also ensure the smooth management of after-sales service. Watches returned for servicing or repair are handled directly on site by our experts, close to the components and close to the spirit of the Maison.
Paris - France timepieces
Since 2023, we have incorporated a dedicated workshop into our premises for the assembly, adjustment, and servicing of all our creations. This decision allows us to raise our standards at every level: quality, precision, and mastery of craftsmanship. Our workshop is also a space for research, creation, and forward thinking. This is where the future of our collections takes shape.
The Mark of Excellence
Engraved “Paris – France”, our movements are assembled in-house by a team of around ten experienced watchmakers. Each watch is assembled and cased by a watchmaker, in accordance with Trilobe’s exacting standards. Every creation then undergoes a quality-control protocol involving hundreds of hours of movement performance testing, ensuring reliability and precision.
Our Component Manufacturing Facility
Our Manufacture now includes a high-precision component manufacturing facility in Paris's immediate vicinity. This marks a key step in our vertical integration strategy: essential for ensuring quality, securing our component supply, and preserving our freedom to innovate.
Multi-axis machining center
Equipped with state-of-the-art multi-axis machining centers, it enables the manufacture of complex components with precision in the order of 3 microns. Each element is produced to extremely strict tolerances, with rigorous inspection at every stage of the process.
Metrology
Advanced metrology enables precise, instantaneous measurements, ensuring dimensional reliability and production process consistency. Bringing our micro-precision expertise in-house gives us total control over repeatability, enhanced responsiveness, and a consistent level of excellence.
