The Double Assembly
Double Assembly: A Commitment to Reliability
At Trilobe, every movement is assembled twice before being fitted into its case. It is a demanding process that requires time and expertise, one that few watchmaking houses still undertake today.

First assembly: detecting imperceptible deviations
Even when each component is individually within specification, certain parts may require adjustments once assembled together. This first assembly allows the watchmaker to check the movement’s operation and make any necessary corrections.

A second, definitive assembly
Once the adjustments have been validated, the movement is completely disassembled, cleaned, and then assembled a second time for its final configuration.
In total, two to three hours of work are devoted to the double assembly process.
One Watchmaker, from Beginning to End
From the first assembly to the final adjustments, the same watchmaker oversees the movement throughout the entire process. This continuity allows them to know every detail of the movement and ensures complete mastery of its performance.
With its off-centre display, where traditional hands give way to three rotating rings across the dial, Trilobe unveils an unprecedented complication.
