Une Folle Journée gives the Trilobe concept its full dimension. The three moving rings, the Maison's signature, leave the plane of the dial to rise and unfold in space. Off-centered, rotating and floating, they reveal time in three dimensions: the largest ring indicates the hours, the middle one the minutes, and the smallest the seconds.

A true watchmaking feat
The three rings for the hours, minutes and seconds are tiered and rise to a height of 10.2 mm. The hours and minutes are held in balance by nine titanium columns connected to the movement, while the small seconds appears to float, supported by a central tenon and an invisible inner sapphire crystal. Each ring, made up of a hollowed-out cornice and a concave band, is the result of a complex assembly. A watchmaking feat that embodies the art of the dial at Trilobe.
A FEAT OF ENGINEERING
The openwork dial allows you to appreciate the full watchmaking expertise of the X-Centric calibre, without losing sight of the uniqueness of the moving rings. Completely redesigned, the calibre brings this three-dimensional architecture to life.
The redesigned X-Centric movement is built around multi-level bridges and plates. Their sharp edges have been patiently polished and diamond-cut to highlight the micro-blasting work carried out on their flat surfaces.

Brass gives way to an alloy of titanium, aluminium, and vanadium. Its exceptional lightness allows the three off-centre rings to be suspended in mid-air.

This change of material is essential to preserving the movement’s performance and reliability, while ensuring a consistent 48-hour power reserve.
OFFERING EXCEPTIONAL FINISHES
But this lightness comes at a price: the alloy is extremely challenging to machine. It can ignite during machining and is particularly difficult to polish, especially at such a small scale. Once mastered, however, it makes it possible to achieve an exceptional level of finishing.

Une Folle Journée is equipped with the X-Centric³ calibre, an automatic movement designed by Trilobe and developed exclusively for the Maison, in partnership with a Swiss Manufacture. A clever blend of boldness and French poetry, between traditional Swiss watchmaking and an eccentric vision.
A SAPPHIRE DOME BUILT TO STAND THE TEST OF TIME
Manufactured in Japan using a traditional flame-fusion process, then softened and polished in Switzerland, the sapphire dome combines exceptional transparency and strength.
